DWService development is carried out largely by a group of volunteers, that in time have built up a service used freely by anyone. As a result of this volunteer approach, a number of tasks, less interesting or important for the developers, are sometimes left behind. In addition, promoting DWService requires our participation at meeting, events and the production of information material, sometimes very expensive for volunteer developers. Meanwhile, many organizations have made an investment in using DWService as part of their operations, but have not had a way to directly contribute to the success and long-term health of the project.
We would like to extend our activities and improve the quality of DWService. For that reason we now offer subscriptions. Your financial contributions will support the maintenance, improvement, and promotion of DWService. Subscriptions are not a way for individuals to control the development of the project, they are not mandatory either. Instead, subscriptions are a way of ensuring the longevity and overall health of the project. In order to formalize ingoing and outgoing money transactions, we have created a new company based in EU.
You can support the DWService development with the following financial contributions:
Subscriptions are not mandatory to use DWService.net
You can subscribe to DWService.net financially at any time via the following payment methods:
We provide invoice for any type of subscriptions. Organizations or individuals interested in DWService.net subscriptions should contact us at email@example.com with questions, or to make arrangements.
Subscriptions will directly help improve the code base of the project, to fund tasks that generally receive less attention from developers, and to fund work on peripheral project tasks so that core contributors can focus efforts on DWService improvements.
As an example, we would like to fund the following project activities:
Fund developers to work on specific aspects of DWService including implementing new features and fixing bugs
Improvement of infrastructure (Servers, Network, High Availability, Backup)
Improvement of documentation, workshop materials and tutorials
Implementation of a particular feature (if sponsorship is sufficient)
Free subscriptions can be of any amount, even a small amount can make a big difference and help to reach important project goals! Subscribers will be listed on this page upon request, but do not receive the additional benefits listed above. If you have have been a free subscriber wish to appear in this list (no links!), please send an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Many thanks to the listed and non-listed supporters who have provided support or freely subscribed to DWService.net.
